As we begin this exciting new chapter together, we’re doing things a little differently! Since we’ll be living in Brazil for the first few years (so Genevieve can fully embrace the culture, and so we can save money—because the general living cost of living is a bit lower there! 😆), we had to rethink how to handle our wedding registry.

Why This Approach?

While daily expenses in Brazil are more affordable, the price of products—especially home goods, tools, and appliances—is higher than in the U.S., and there are far fewer options. On top of that, bringing physical gifts from the U.S. isn’t really an option because of insanely high shipping costs ($200 per box, if we are flying these things with us—ouch! 😅).

So instead of a traditional registry where you buy and ship gifts, we are sharing a list of items we need, along with links to the exact products on Amazon Brazil.

If you’d like to gift, you can send us the amount for the product(s) you choose, and we’ll purchase them directly from Amazon Brazil.

Our Dream for Our Home 🏡❤️

Both of us love hosting—welcoming people into our home is something we deeply enjoy. Our goal is to create a warm, inviting space where we can host family, friends, and missionaries. Whether it’s having deep conversations over a home-cooked meal, creating a space of rest to invite other into, or simply sharing coffee and laughter, we want our home to be a place of connection, encouragement, and hospitality.

Our registry isn’t just about plates and towels (though, yes, we need those too!). Since our home in Brazil is still a work in progress, our list includes:

✔️ Construction tools & materials – Daniel loves working on home projects, and with many parts of the house still unfinished, these will be a game-changer. (Yes, we are that couple who considers a power drill a romantic gift! 😂💪)
